Dan Craig is a 34 year veteran farrier and has been a Natural Barefoot trimmer for the past six years. “Why barefoot” will be answered as well as the benefits of this method. Dan will talk about the inner structures of the foot and their function according to the latest research. The difference between the Natural Barefoot Trim and a farrier trim will be explained. How to successfully transition a horse from shoes to Natural Barefoot will be covered, including examples including examples of hoof boots.
