Dr. Jay Janssen is a Colorado-licensed Veterinarian who has extensive post-doctoral training, certification and experience in Veterinary Acupuncture, Manipulative Therapy and Orthopedic Manipulation.

Additionally, he offers his experience and knowledge of Herbal Medicines, Glandular Therapies and Homeopathic Remedies.

Dr. Janssen offers these different and varied approaches by themselves and/or to complement your current veterinarian’s treatment so that you, your animal companion, and your routine veterinarian have even more options to consider for optimum health and well-being. Dr. Janssen’s remarkable skills are aimed at enhancing performance, preventing disease conditions, maintaining a healthy state and assisting in rehabilitation for your animal.
His patients range from precious family pets of all sorts to all types of high performance competition animals.

Balancing the Horse Comprehensively

Dr. Janssen’s demonstration is intended to spark interest in the equine caregiver….and enable the caregiver to help their horse(s) and themselves with basic knowledge gained from this demonstration.

Dr. Janssen will utilize various complementary modalities….to balance and center the horse.

Some of the modalities Dr. Janssen will emphasize include Veterinary Acupuncture, Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation, and other manual therapies. Some energy work will be included.
