My name is Maria. At Sharon Bringelson’s urging, I am writing to
Thank You and all those who organized and participated in The Holistic Horse
Affair 2011. I live in Jackson, Wyoming where I teach riding and horse
management to beginner riders and lower level Event and Dressage
competitors. Thanks to the horses I am also a Reiki Master and student of
Energy Healing through a school in Bozeman, “Sahaj School of Energy
Healing”. My perspective is quite different than the majority of folks I
work with. The goals I have for myself and my students are centered around
Relationship, Respect and Personal Growth- -mental, emotional and
particularly Spiritual. The HHA helped me to define and own this.
Attending the Holistic Horse Affair was magical for me. What a wonderful
community of Awareness. I was surprised to find a gathering of so many
integrated, passionate professionals working to improve Life for the horse,
for each other, for the planet. I gained practical tools during the
lectures and demonstrations. I made important contacts that will further
assist my development. But most importantly I gained enormous confidence
from this group of like minded individuals.
The HHA showed me that there are many, many people dedicated to changing
the way we interact with and care for horses. Connecting to this group
has given me courage to change the way I express what I see and know about
the horse. This opening has exponentially increased my intuitive awareness
and energetic connections. The HHA community dissolved many of my fears. I
came feeling unable to stand up for what I knew to be true, wondering with
immense grief if I would no longer have horses in my life. I left inspired,
motivated and supported in my knowing of the true nature of horses. I am
excited to continue my partnership with the horse and to be an active
participant in the healing of the planet.

experience and wisdom and to all who gathered together for this event. I am
so very appreciative for the opportunity offered by your work.
