As you consider the value of your Holistic Herd membership, we’d like to take this time to review the past year of educational gatherings that we were able to sponsor through your support.

In October of 2010 we had the 2nd Annual Holistic Horse Affair and many businesses became members by supporting the Holistic Herd with their booth purchase.

In January of 2011 Dr. Jay Janssen and Mary Smid Newman presented at a Meet & Greet at Happy Dog Ranchin Littleton, CO.

In March of 2011 we brought a Holistic Horse Affair section to the Rocky Mountain Horse Expo.  This inaugural event was made possible because of the overwhelming support we had from business owners such as yourself who desires a voice for the horse to be heard about holistic options within the broader community.

In April of 2011 Bill Pelkey of Equigetics presented at a Meet & Greet at Mustang Hollow near Wellington, CO.

In May of 2011, Kathy Pikepresented at a Meet & Greet at Colorado Horse Rescue in Longmont, CO.

In June of 2011, Dendria McLaughlin of Hatha Horse hosted a Meet & Greet with yoga and a trailride near Parker, CO.

In July of 2011, Kim Baker of KB Natural Horsemanshiphosted a Meet & Greet where we all learned that anyone can do energy healing with horses, near Elizabeth, CO.

In August of 2011, Janet Crow of Natural Horsepowerpresented at Brenda Moberly’s ranch near Fort Lupton, CO

In September 2011, Kerry Borcherding taught us about Yoga on horses at Colorado Horse Rescue.

In October 2011 we had our 3rd Annual Holistic Horse Affair AND a Meet & Greet with Annette Price of On the Wings of a Horsehelping us connect with horses in a different way in Platteville, CO.

November 12, 2011 we had a demo by Conscious Horse, Conscious Rider at Colorado Horse Rescue.

December 11, 2011 we visited the windhorseOne Studio and Susan Williams shared her passion for helping humans tap into the emotions that images of horses can bring.

WHEW!!  We are busy connecting with like-minded folks and spreading the awareness of holistic works with and for horses.  Thank you for your support as we continue the mission of education and empowerment as we spread the circle of influence that honors the horse.

Looking to the future….

January 21, 2012, a panel of Animal Communicators, brought together by Julie Mack, will delight us with readings from all species.  Bring your photo(s).

February 18, 2012, another panel discussion — holistic minded professionals in the health industry for horses will discuss Super Bugs.  With the 2011 outbreak of EHV-1 we thought it might be nice for us to have a discussion about Super Bugs.  What are they?  What are their impacts? How can we be a part of the solution rather than the problem and panic?  Kathy Pike will host this Meet & Greet in Longmont, CO.

March 9-11, 2012 — Join us at the Holistic Horse Affair section of the Rocky Mountain Horse Expo.  Be sure to submit your abstract by November 1, 2011 to be considered by the Colorado Horse Council for a presentation or demo in their diverse track of presenters.  RMHE INFO PAGE
We are sponsoring our own track of holistic speakers again this year too.   HHCC members in good standing will be given priority in our speaker track – contact Robin at robin@holistic-herd.com to be considered for the holistic track of speakers.
